Are your pajamas flame resistant? Are they safe for sleepwear?Updated 7 days ago

All of our pajamas are designed to be snug-fitting in accordance with U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) guidelines for children’s sleepwear (16 CFR 1615/1616).

Because bamboo viscose is not flame resistant, we do not treat our fabric with flame-retardant chemicals. Instead, our sleepwear is made to fit snugly and includes a required safety label that reads:

“For your child’s safety, garment should fit snugly. This garment is not flame resistant. Loose-fitting garment is more likely to catch fire”

Snug-fitting garments are considered safer because they’re less likely to catch fire compared to loose-fitting clothing.

At Bam & Stitch, your child’s comfort and safety are our top priorities — every piece is thoughtfully designed to meet both federal safety standards and your high expectations for softness and style.
